By Car:

from the north (Hamburg or Rostock):

Follow the A24 that turns into the A10 at the "Berliner Ring". Drive until "Dreieck Pankow" (don't take the "Dreieck Oranienburg" to the western part of Berlin), then follow the signs to "Berlin Zentrum Ost" (centre east). Follow the motorway, that turns into a normal, still bigger street. Follow that for several kilometres until you come to the Alexanderplatz. In front of the Forum Hotel (the biggest building there, you can't miss that one), you have to turn left. Then turn right at the next opportunity, then left again (signs should mention Kreuzberg). You'll go over a river, then follow the streets for a few kilometres until you come to a roundabout. Turn left there (the last opportunity to leave the roundabout) into Oranienstraße. Go straight ahead until you reach the subway line(which is above the streets there) at Skalitzer Straße and turn left.Follow the subway, and the next station is U-Bhf SCHLESISCHES TOR.Under the station you will find the KATO.

from the south or west (Munich or Hannover):

It doesn't matter if you're coming from Hannover or Nuremberg, you'll always end up on the same motorway to Berlin. So just follow the signs to "Berlin-Zentrum", until you come to the "Dreieck Funkturm" (which is where you see a tv tower). Take the left lane there (and don't follow the signs to Hamburg). You're coming onto a new motorway, the inner city circle. Follow that for several kilometres until you see the exit "Flughafen Tempelhof". Leave there and turn left. Directions should be Mitte/Zentrum. Follow that street for several kilometres until you find the subway above the street. Turn right there, and follow that street (again for a few kilometres). You come to a roundabout (Kottbusser Tor), where you still go straight ahead, for another 2 kilometers, where you will be arrived at subway station U-Bhf SCHLESISCHES TOR. Under the station you can see the KATO club

from the south-east (Dresden or Prague):

Just follow the signs to Berlin until the motorway ends. Then follow the directions to Treptow (not Neukölln). You stay on a really big street for several kilometres. Just follow signs to Kreuzberg or Mitte/Zentrum. In front of a park the street turns right and then left. Shortly after that you come to a crossroads, where you still go straight ahead - the street is much smaller now, but you're nearly in Kreuzberg. You come to a subway station above the street called U-Bhf SCHLESISCHES TOR. Under the station you will find the KATO club.
